Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of ForVows (the "Service"), an event planning and RSVP service operated by MKN Web Solutions, LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account, joining a workspace or using the Service, you agree to them. If you respond to an invitation as a guest, the sections on guests and text messages apply to you.
1. The Service
ForVows helps hosts plan events: invitations and RSVPs, guest lists, vendors, budgets, tasks and messages. Concierge, an AI planning assistant inside ForVows, can review a plan, draft emails and text messages to vendors, and read vendors' replies. A person on the host's team approves everything Concierge sends.
2. Accounts and workspaces
You must be at least 18 to create an account. Keep your sign-in details secure; you're responsible for activity in your account and for the people you invite to your workspace. Guests who respond to an invitation don't need an account.
3. Your content and the people you add
You keep ownership of what you put into ForVows. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run the Service for you.
When you add guests or vendors, you confirm that you're allowed to share their contact details with us and to contact them through the Service about your event.
4. Text messages (SMS)
ForVows text messages go only to an event's guests who ask for them: a one-time RSVP code a guest asks to get by text, and informational event updates - times, directions, schedule changes and reminders - from that event's hosts.
Consent: each is its own box, unchecked by default. A guest who ticks "Text me my code" gets that one code by text (otherwise it's emailed). Only a guest who ticks "Text me about this event" on the RSVP form receives event updates, starting with one confirmation text. A guest can get their code by email and RSVP without giving a mobile number.
Message frequency varies with the event. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP at any time to stop texts from that number; you'll get one confirmation and nothing more. Reply HELP for help, or contact mike@mkn.us.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We never use these texts for marketing, and we don't share mobile numbers or text-message consent for anyone's marketing - see the Privacy Policy.

5. Concierge (AI) features
Concierge's drafts, summaries and suggestions can be incomplete or wrong. Review them before you send or rely on them. Concierge never applies changes to your plan or money on its own, never makes payments and never agrees to anything on your behalf.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use ForVows to send spam or marketing, to text or email people who haven't agreed to hear from you, to harass anyone, to share unlawful content, or to interfere with or probe the Service's security.
7. Fees
The Service is currently provided without charge. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you before you're charged for anything.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". We aren't a party to your arrangements with vendors or guests and aren't responsible for them. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell signed-in users about significant changes before they take effect.
