ForVows text messages
ForVows is an event planning app. Its texts go only to an event's guests who ask for them:
- RSVP codes - a one-time code a guest asks to get by text on an event's RSVP page.
- Event updates - times, directions, schedule changes and reminders from that event's hosts, for guests who opt in on the RSVP form.
No marketing. Message frequency varies by event. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, HELP for help, or contact mike@mkn.us. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How guests opt in
Every box is unchecked by default, and a guest can get their code by email and RSVP without a mobile number. To find their invitation, a guest who ticks this box gets that one code by text:
On the RSVP form itself, only a guest who ticks this box receives event updates:

Right after opting in, the guest gets one confirmation text:

Every text names who it's from, for example:
Jordan & Casey via ForVows: The ceremony now starts at 4:30 PM - same place. See you there! Reply STOP to opt out
Stopping texts
Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any ForVows text and you'll get one confirmation and no more texts from that number. Reply HELP for help.
